Kneeland School is a small rural school serving grades k-8. We provide an excellent educational opportunity which enables all students to achieve academic success and realize their full potential. Since the schools beginning in 1880 Kneeland School has prepared its students to be responsible, contributing members of our extended community and wise stewards of our environmentally rich setting. We are located approximately 17 miles east of Eureka, California. Our school is nestled upon rolling hills at an elevation of 2,800 feet and is surrounded by grassland and forest.

Open House
Planning is underway for our annual Kneeland Open House. Students will cook a home-made meal to serve to their families and friends. If you would like to help with preparations (helping the students cut vegetables, cooking the sauces etc.) please contact Jill or Michael at the school.
