About Redwood Envirnomental Education Fair
Redwood Environmental Education Fair (REEF) is in its 30th year, taking place over two days on the College of the Redwoods campus. Planned by a committee of local teachers and Humboldt County Office of Education, students are given a chance to participate in a number of workshop sessions with the common goal of environmental science, preservation, and stewardship. About 70 teachers from around Humboldt County sign up and bring their classes (about 2000 students) to participate in one of the two days, seeing and experiencing three different 55-minute workshops that encompass a wide variety of environmental education topics.

- REEF provides a field trip experience where students and teachers explore environmental concepts and lessons provided by highly qualified professionals from governmental, educational and non-profit community organizations.
