Glen Paul School — Program Descriptions
Students at the Glen Paul School campus range in age from 3 years to 22 years, and classroom programs are designed to meet their individual needs. There are also programs located at various school sites throughout the community. These classes allow students to be integrated and interact with their non-disabled peers as appropriate for each student.
Preschool classes provide children with developmentally appropriate preschool opportunities with non-disabled students.
Classes for primary-age students build on learning starting at the preschool level, with increased emphasis on community-based instruction.
Teens through age 22 are instructed in a variety of settings to increase independence in the community. Such skills as shopping, dining out, accessing public transportation and using community resources for business, recreation, and leisure are goals for students to develop in the community setting.
